Professor, School of Nursing, University of Auckland/ Cure Kids Chair in Child and Adolescent Mental Health

TC is the Cure Kids Professor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at the School of Nursing, The University of Auckland. TC has Ngāpuhi tribal affiliation to the Indigenous peoples of New Zealand. She has worked as a nurse for 30 years in youth health in various roles and as an academic. TC is co-lead of the Youth’19 Rangatahi Smart Survey and has been a founding member of the New Zealand Adolescent Health Research Group and Youth2000 www.youth19.ac.nz  survey series since 1998. TC has a focus on taitamariki Māori (Indigenous youth) health and equity.
